Info • Mucor lusitanicus (circinelloides) MU402 v1.0

Status

[January 2019] The Mucor lusitanicus MU402 genome was sequenced with PacBio, assembled with Falcon and annotated with the JGI Annotation Pipeline. The mitochondrial genome was assembled separately and is available in the downloads section. As MU402 is derived from CBS277.49, when predicted gene models were nearly identical to those from CBS277.49, manual curations were carried over to MU402 models to maximize details on gene function. A track of models from CBS277.49 and their locations in MU402 are also available on the genome browser. Note: scaffold_17 is 99.6% identical to the end of scaffold_1 and could have potentially been erroneously separated out during gap closing by FinisherSC. Gene models on this scaffold should be considered carefully if included in downstream analysis.
