Zooming and Navigating

There are two ways to zoom in on the alignment search results.

  • To zoom in and center on a particular location, click the black query sequence at that location.
  • To zoom in to a specific range of bases, type the first and last base numbers into the Start and End text boxes, respectively, and click Refresh Display.

If you set the viewer to display less than the full length of the query sequence, a set of navigation buttons will appear.

  • <-50% Jump toward the start 50% of the shown sequence length.
  • <-90% Jump toward the start 90% of the shown sequence length.
  • 50%-> Jump toward the end 50% of the shown sequence length.
  • 90%-> Jump toward the end 90% of the shown sequence length.

The full query sequence will be shown at the top in gray, and the portion you are viewing will be shown below that in black. Diagonal dotted lines show the position of the portion you are viewing relative to the complete query sequence.
