Viewing Information About the Alignment Search

Information about the alignment search is shown in a table above the graphical display of hits. It includes:

• Name The name of the query sequence, taken from the defline if available.
• Defline The full defline for the query sequence, if available.
• Length The length in base pairs of the query sequence. The length of the portion displayed currently is shown in parentheses.
• Hits The total number of hits from the query.

Below the table is a text box that displays the scaffold number and start and end base numbers for the hits as you mouse over them in the image. Below this text box, you see the number of hits currently displayed.
